I did the shopping on my own this time. It is easy except for loading up the car. There I need to move all the bags of rice twice – once to the back edge of the car before I climb in and place them closer to the center of the truck.

As usual, after completing the shopping trip I stopped by Boss and organized everything for the afternoon distribution and finally left the loaded truck in the slum.

Our incredible volunteers did all the rest! We had 56 of our registered Thai senior citizens show up to collect their biweekly bag of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce and dried pork. Here are more pictures from this Rice Run….
