Welcome to the 2020s! A very exciting new beginning for all of us at the Sister Joan Mission project. We are starting this new era appropriately with a Milk Run event but many more are following. This morning started in complete darkness with Theresa and me meeting at the Boss to load up the car. We picked up Polina at Ekkamai BTS and arrived in Rong Moo where another six volunteers were already waiting to for us to start.

We gave out 32 boxes of milk formula in Rang Moo and arrived at 9 am to Suan Ooy where we gave out another 24 boxes. An older lady came to ask if she could sign up for the Rice Run and Theresa and I went to visit her and another senior at their homes to see if they would qualify for assistance.

We have scheduled the Rice Run registration for Jan 16th and the elderly in both Rang Moo and Suan Ooy communities have been notified that they need to sign up if they want to receive this food assistance in this calendar year. I am sure we will have our hands full interviewing and will have to make some hard decisions then.
