Sister Joan started the Milk Run back in 1992 and the program has been running every 2 weeks ever since. It delivers milk formula to mom’s who can not breast feed because they are HIV positive or for other reasons. The babies are entitled to 1 box of baby milk formula every 2 weeks until their 1st birthday. Some continue past that point – our oldest recipient is a 27 year old, severely handicapped girl.
The Milk Run events start every 2nd Friday at 7 am in Rang Moo community of Klong Toei slum. We finish by 10:30 am. This is a Google Maps link to where we meet at: https://maps.app.goo.gl/RCYSXM2dBkjPBF1g6

Yvonne introduced me to Sister Joan many years ago and it is always very special when she joins to help. Adri came, as always on time.
We gave out 12 packets of milk formula and registered two new babies to the program.

When I stopped off Sister Joan’s old car for the repair, I forgot to take the Boss Mansion storage key off of the car key chain.
So our Sep 15 Milk Run actually took place on Sep 16, a Saturday morning. Shockingly, all the mom’s showed up, both in Rong Moo and Suan Ooy communities. I delivered 11 packs of milk formula in each neighborhood.
Adri and Willy came to deliver the milk formula and pampers to our registered moms and babies.
We delivered 13 packages of milk formula in Rong Moo….
… and another 10 in Suan Ooy community of the Klong Toei slum.
Will and Adri came to deliver love to the little ones in Klong Toei.
As usual, we met at the Bus Terminal (Eastern) and drove into Rong Moo at 7am sharp.
We delivered 13 bags of milk formula at Rong Moo and another 12 at Suan Ooy.

Today I was alone for the Milk Run – Adri was not well and Miron is still in Europe. So I focused on getting more done, delivered 12 peckets of milk formula in Rong Moo and rushed to a car wash.
At 9am I was in Suan Ooy to serve another 11 bags of milk formula and a set of reusable baby diapers. Here are more pics from this Friday…
Adri came to help and we delivered 18 boxes of milk formula in Rong Moo before she had to go to work.
In Suan Ooy papps and a grandma came for 4 boxes.

Adri is back in Bangkok and came to help on this beautiful, sunny morning.
We delivered 16 packets of baby milk formula to our registered recipients in Rong Moo.
In Suan Ooy we distributed another 11 packages. Another success!
Today’s Milk Run started with an emergency car wash. There was some cooking oil spilled in the back of the track that was left over from the last Rice Run. Fortunately, the Klong Toei car wash was open early!!
I made it to Rong Moo in time and delivered 18 packets of milk formula to our registered moms. As always, some babies were there too but you wouldn’t know it – not a single cry out of them! 🥰
I took a coffee break and then drove to the 9am distribution at Suan Ooy community. There another 2 new babies came to get registered and now we have 13 deliveries to make every fortnight! Here are more pics from yesterday…

We delivered 21 packs of milk formula and had the usual coffee break at Amazon Cafe. Afterwards, I continued to Suan Ooy community.
There we got another newborn, a 5 day old baby girl. Her mom is 17. I gave out 10 more packs of milk formula there, unloaded the car at Boss and took it for it’s regular wash… Here are more pics…
What a wonderful Milk Run we had this morning. Adri and Willy meet me at Bus Terminal (Eastern) and we rolled into the distribution point at 7am sharp.
We were lucky today to also have Irza shortly after 7am and moms and babies just kept coming.
We delivered 24 packets of milk formula, registered another 2 week baby and gave away 2 baby carriers.
Once done in Rong Moo, we made our usual coffee break. Adri left us then and Willy, Irza and I continued to Suan Ooy where we delivered another 11 bags of milk formula.
