We had another Rice Run with covid schedule: Carol and Willy joined me for the shopping trip to Makro, Penang Market and Klong Toei Market and Shannon led the team of volunteers in the afternoon. They met in Boss Mansion at 3pm, packed all the individual packets of food items and then distributed 79 bags to the seniors of Rang Moo and Suan Ooy communities of Klong Toei slum. Sister Joan started giving food items to seniors in Klong Toei back in 2002. Eighteen years later, the program still carries on.
