Welcome to 2021!! We started with a Bang – getting up on Jan 1 at 6am and rushing to Klong Toei to help the moms. As expected, almost all of them showed up – very few could afford to leave Bangkok, especially since they don’t know if they’ll be able to return if there is another Covid shutdown here.

We used my truck today because Sister Joan’s pickup is on it’s annual service and registration trip. Carol came to help load and deliver the supplies. We added a bar of soap and a bottle of a Vitamin C drink to the baby formula each registered mom received. There was also baby clothes and moms loved getting that too….

Willy joined us for the Rang Moo distribution and we served 22 moms there. Two were new and came with their newborns, one mom completed the year and another got a three month extension because her little one is still small, still recovering from abdominal surgery done a few months ago.

In Suan Ooy, we gave away 16 packages of formula, soap and VItamin drink. One was a new mom – the one beaming in the photo on the top of this page. The little boy is just a week old. Here are more pics…
