From the very beginning, Sister Joan supported only registered recipients. The Milk Run moms register their babies throughout the year, as they arrive but for the Rice Run there was always 1 day that all of potential recipients had to come and register.

As usual, the requirements are that the person is over 60 years old or holds a Thai Government issued card of a handicapped person. They need to live in either Rong Moo or Suan Ooy community of the Klong Toei slum and we use their electric bill to limit giving help only to people who can not afford an AC or other expensive equipment.

As in the past several years, Sister Cecilia drove in from Ratchaburi and Shannon and Miron  joined too. Miron generously delivered cheese cake – wow!

We registered 63 people for the 2025 term and visited 4 houses to decide if all of them really needed food support.
