I decided to take a week off so this Friday shopping trip was used to purchase for and milk formula items for the rest of December and early January event: Dec 15 and Dec 22 and Dec 29 and Jan 5th.

Michi and Gabriel saved the day and came to help me purchase and load up all that – the truck was filled to the brim, just how Sister Joan and I used to do when Rice Run had twice the recipients it has today.

After we loaded the truck we went and bought dried pork and unloaded from the car what wasn’t needed at Boss storage room. The truck was left parked and ready for the afternoon crew to open and deliver the food packages.

As for every Rice Run before Christmas, we delivered a little extra to each recipient. This year they received a bottle juice, soy milk and a bar of soap.
