The last Sister Joan Mission event of 2023 was carried out by the amazing men and women who make this work possible – the volunteers from different countries and cultures, different backgrounds and religions all coming together to help the needy people of Klong Toei slum.

I wanted to take 10 days off at the end of the year so with Sisters’ approval I made the purchase of everything that was needed for this last Rice Run of the year and left it ready in our storage space.

Our amazing volunteers came and loaded it into the truck, drove it to Rong Moo community and distributed 54 sets to our registered Thai seniors.
