Sister Joan was born on May 3rd, 1931 in Perth, Western Australia. She’s back home now, spending her days in great care of an excellent elderly home facility.

We spent this Friday in Bangkok thinking of her while taking a tour of where she used to live in Klong Toei slum

and doing the usual bi-weekly shopping trip to Makeo and the Klong Toei market.

In the afternoon Shanon and other volunteers distributed 62 food assistance packages to our registered Thai seniors. Here are more pics from that Friday…
