Carol and I went shopping in the morning and beat all records! We met at 10 sharp and finished at noon!! Makro, Penang Market and the small shop in Klong Toei Market that sells dried pork… There were no lines and no traffic and I thought how much would Sister love that efficiency.
Shannon and the volunteers did everything else. From 3:15 to 5pm they packed the bags, delivered them to Rong Moo and distributed the help to 76 registered recipients. Each got a 5kg bag of white rice, a bottle of cooking oil and a bottle of fish sauce and a bag of dried pork that adds protein to their meals… Here are more pics from the Rice Run…
