    I decided to take a week off so this Friday shopping trip was used to purchase for and milk formula items for the rest of December and early January event: Dec 15 and Dec 22 and Dec 29 and Jan 5th.

    Michi and Gabriel saved the day and came to help me purchase and load up all that – the truck was filled to the brim, just how Sister Joan and I used to do when Rice Run had twice the recipients it has today.

    After we loaded the truck we went and bought dried pork and unloaded from the car what wasn’t needed at Boss storage room. The truck was left parked and ready for the afternoon crew to open and deliver the food packages.

    As for every Rice Run before Christmas, we delivered a little extra to each recipient. This year they received a bottle juice, soy milk and a bar of soap.

    I was alone for this Milk Run. Adri, Willy, Miron and Sapee were not available but as in the past, one person can get everything done on their own….

    I delivered 15 boxes of milk formula in Rong Moo and spent the usual coffee break updating records and reorganizing our admin box.

    In Suan Ooy another 14 moms came to collect and there was also a new baby there!

    Another great Friday in Klong Toei. After distribution I stopped by Pathumkonga High School for boys to make a tuition payment for one of the students in the School Run program.

    Another great day in Sister Joan’s Mission work…

    Sapee came to help with shipping for today’s Rice Run and next week’s Milk Run.

    We loaded Sister’s truck and left it park in Rong Moo community

    In the afternoon Janna led the charge and our volunteers delivered 57 packages of food items to our registered Thai seniors. Here are more pics…

    Adri was not well so I did this Milk Run alone, like Sister Joan used to do many years ago.

    I delivered 12 packs of milk formula in Rong Moo, took a coffee break at Amazon Cafe as we usually do and then delivered another 13 packs of milk formula to the Suan Ooy community.

    Trini was visiting Bangkok this week so she generally came to help with both shopping and distribution on this Rice Run Friday.

    We were done at Makro in no time and Trini went back to Rong Moo at 3:30. She and other volunteers served all of our 58 registered recipients with rice, oil, fish sauce and pork.

    Irza and his brother Andrew surprised me at 6:20am in Rong Moo – they came to help with today’s distribution. We drove together to Boss, loaded the car with milk formula and pampers and then picked up Adri at Bus Terminal Eastern before 7am

    Moms were in on time waiting for us at 7am. As always, no babies cried, no one tried to cut the line or fail to smile and be polite. Thai people do things with so much grace…

    We registered 2 new babies at Rong Moo and another one later at Suan Ooy. And we delivered a total of 26 packets of milk formula. Here are more pics…

    Sapee and I finished the shopping part easily in the morning and parked the loaded car in Rong Moo as we usually do.

    In the afternoon, Kay was in town and came to help out. We had a full team delivering food to 54 of our 58 registered Thai seniors.

    We had a great team in place and the delivery ended as usual: with a cold beverage at the local store… Here are more pics…

    Adri has been amazing and came to help again. We met at the Bus Terminal Eastern as usual and drive into Rong Moo right at 7am.

    Adri and me registered a new baby for the program and delivered 12 boxes of milk formula in Rong Moo and another 5 in Suan Ooy.

    Sister Cecilia came from Ratchaburi to help on this Friday. Claire, Willy and Janna were also there for the afternoon distribution.

    I did the shopping alone, Sapee is in Burma and other volunteers were busy in the morning so I had lots of time to take the truck for it’s regular wash before heading to Makro to fill it up.

    Willy and Adri and Irza came to deliver love to Klong Toei. The Team Indonesia and I started as always at 7am in Rong Moo.

    We gave 13 boxes of milk formula in Rong Moo and registered a new recipient.

    In Suan Ooy only 4 moms came to collect this time.
